The University Residence Hall Unicaland was built as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The project actively supports the implementation of the Mission 4 (Education and Research), Component 1 (Expanding the Provision of Educational Services: From Daycare Centers to Universities), Reform 1.7 (University Housing), funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU.

- DSU Compliance: In compliance with the provisions of the Ministerial Decree No. 481/2024 (MUR Housing Call for Proposals), the facility guarantees a capped rate (at least 15% below local market averages) and reserves a quota equal to 30% of the total number of beds to capable and deserving students of limited means, identified according to the “Right to University Education” (DSU) rankings based on ISEE and merit criteria.
